Glen D. Jack

Glen D. Jack, 91, of Wichita, Kansas passed from this earthly dwelling place on Monday, June 22, 2015 to be with his savior and loved ones. He was born on November 16, 1923 to Charles B. and Beulah Coffman Jack at Byron, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Marjorie A. Meyer at the home of Rev. E.A. Newby in Wichita on August 31, 1947. He served in the Core of Military Police attached to the Air Core stationed in India and Burma from 1943 to 1946. He was a WWII Veteran and was very proud to be one. He graduated from Wichita State University in 1950. He worked in the Aircraft and Aero Space Industry for 39 years. He worked for Boeing Aircraft at the time of his retirement in 1989. He continued to live in Wichita until 2010 when he moved to Abilene, TX, with his wife to be closer to family. Glen lived an amazing life. He loved God deeply and with all his heart. He graced us by showing his love and strength to all who knew him. Rest in peace, happy trails until we meet again. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, a son Barry Jack and his wife Cindy, a daughter Tina Kincaid and her husband Guy, six grandchildren, Chris Kincaid (Courtney), Andrea Woods (Malory II), Nick Kincaid (Jenny), Colby Jack, Carolanne Jack, and Justin Young, along with 7 Great Grandchildren, Aden Kincaid, Reese Kincaid, Callen Kincaid, Lexus Woods, Brooklyn Woods, Avery Ramirez, Sadie Ramirez and a host of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at 1pm on Thurs. June, 25, 2015 from 6 to 8pm at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Funeral services will be held Fri. June 26, 2015 at Woodridge Christian Church, 12111 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in the Garden of Everlasting Life. Monsignor G. Patrick Garrity, V.E. will be officiating. Memorials may be made in Glen’s honor to Potosi Baptist Church, 2826 Potosi Rd., Abilene, TX 79602.
