Neil/Kevin/Philip,
I am saddened to hear of Goldie's passing.  Her letter to me at Christmas time was upbeat as usual.  I will always remember her and Uncle Bill.  I've included my favorite photo of them from their 50th anniversary celebration.

Thinking of you and your family today.  She was obviously a wonderful mother and you have been such a great son, doing all you did for her, just being who you are.  Sending love and prayers for you & the rest of your family.

So sorry to hear about Goldie's passing.  She was always so pleasant and friendly and we'll miss her smiling face.  I remember her being such a good friend to my mother at Grace Church.  I know she'll be missed but so glad you have so many special memories... may they sustain you.  Will be thinking of your families.

Kevin,  I'm so sorry on the loss of your mom.  I didn't know her, but enjoyed reading the stories you posted about her on Facebook.  She really enjoyed her Shockers. We were truly sorry to hear of Goldie's death.  She was my favorite aunt and I will sorely miss her annual Christmas cards and the birthday card she never forgot to send every year.  She could put more information in a two page letter than most people could in five or six.  But my most vivid recollection of her was "THE LOOK" (I'm sure those of you she raised are very aware of what I mean) I got from her at a family reunion some years ago when I mistakenly called her Fanny.  WOW!  Just be aware that you are not alone in this sad time and you have our heartfelt sympathy.

Kevin, I'm so sorry for your loss.  Your mom was such a special lady and you were a wonderful son to her with everything you did for her and with her.  It's not always the things you do for your aging parent, but the quality time you spend with them. And you certainly did that. May you now be able to start the healing process peacefully, and with the knowledge that you were greatly loved and appreciated by your mom.

Aunt Goldie, I always enjoyed coming to Wichita for visits with you or the short visits in Kansas City. I am so glad we had a few minutes to chat when you first entered the hospital. I will miss you, Aunt Goldie!
