Mr. H P Bud Lent Jr.

Lent, Jr., H.P. “Bud”, 92, of Wichita, KS passed away peacefully on Sun. Nov. 2, 2014 at Park West Plaza in Wichita. Bud was born on May 15, 1922 in Wichita, KS the son of Hugh and Jessie (Weaver) Lent. Bud served in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII. Bud was the owner of Coufal X-Ray Company in Wichita for 24 years. Bud was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wichita. Bud and Ruth were united in marriage in 1948 before her passing in 2002. Bud married Betty in 2008. Bud was a wonderful person and will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ruth. Survivors include his wife, Betty Lent, sons, Hugh (Joyce) Lent, Chris (Cathy) Lent, step-son, Mark (Beverly) White of Oklahoma City, Ok, niece, Cheri Spetter, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Fri. Nov. Funeral services will be at 2pm on Sat. Nov. 8, 2014 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita.
