

Harvey Joe Robben. Born 12/29/1950, passed away 11/17/2015. Harvey was a retired communication tower site manager and, until his death, an active small farmer his wife called him the "Pied Piper" because of the way the cows could hear the sound of his truck or his voice and knew it was time to eat. His faithful dog, Beau, his companion (and other choice names), greeted him every morning with a wag of the tail and lots of kisses. He married Laura (Robertson) Robben on August 10, 1996, in Prairie Village KS. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Herman Robben and Frances Edna (Girrens) Robben, as well as several aunts and uncles, his grandparents and his nephew, Heath Ahre. He is survived by his wife Laura, step-daughters: Jan (Ryan) Williams; Jennifer (Terry) Loveland; grandchildren, Tyson (Lindsay) Baker, Robbi (Sam) Klug, Justin Larsen, Derek Larsen, Teyton Loveland, Trevin Loveland; great-granddaughters, Ava and Addison Baker; brother-in-law, Frank Robertson; sisters, Virginia Ewertz, Donna Kay Ahre, Sheila Guerro, brother; Paul Robben, nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. A rosary will be recited November 19, 2015, 7 pm at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Schulte KS. The mass of the Christian burial will be held on November 20, 10am; interment will follow immediately at Resthaven Mortuary.
