Helen Georgette (Beale) Gregg, 94, passed away December 29, 2020. Helen was born in Hutchinson, KS to George and Edith Beale. After graduating high school, she attended Hutchinson Junior College where she majored in Accounting. She met the love of her life, Richard, on a blind date to the Kansas State Fair in September 1944 and were married six months later. In 1954 they moved to Wichita. They were happily married 68 years at the time of Richard's death in 2013. Helen loved her family, cats, home decorating, gardening and Christmas. She had a large array of Christmas collectibles. Later in life she worked in Accounting at Wichita State University and retired in 1992. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; brother, Richard Beale; and sister, Velma Dunham, both of Hutchinson. Helen is survived by her children, Nancy (Richard) King, Dr. Kori Gregg, Dr. Elizabeth Guhman and Tom Gregg, all of Wichita; brother, Larry (Caroline) Beale of Winfield; grandchildren, Heather (John) Jacobson of Dallas, David (Melissa) King, Jasmine Douangpraseuth of Wichita and Jason Gregg; and great grandchildren, Justis, Sophia and Coleman. Visitation will be from 9AM-12PM, Wednesday, January 6th, with Graveside service to follow at 1:00PM, both at Resthaven Mortuary.
