James, Helen Marie, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully at 85, Feb. 9th, 2011. She was born to Ray and Nellie Kellogg who preceded her in death, on Oct. 16th, 1925 in Richards, Mo. Helen loved animals and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards, bird watching, and spending time outdoors. She is survived by daughter Pat (Vaughn) Sink, son Steve (Kay) James, granddaughters Jenni (Russ) Goza, Tiffany (Troy) McKinsey, grandsons Garrett and Cooper James, former husband and friend Dr. Lester James, all of Wichita; brother Wilbur Kellogg of Ft. Scott, Ks., sister Betty Noe of Farlington, Ks., and many nieces and nephews. The family will have a private viewing and celebration of her life.
