I worked for Henry and Lilly at the 11th frame in the 80s so did my mom in the 60s The ly were great people .

I finally found a reference to Henry’s 11th Frame. I fondly remember going there several times with friends in the early 1970s.
I don’t remember which bowling alley it was located in or which street, somewhere around 21st and Woodlawn?
It would be nice if someone would post some information  to preserve this bit of Wichita history for posterity. 

I met Henry and Lily in 1964 when they had the restaurant in the Hiway Inn Motel at Kellogg and West Street. I was a waitress and bartender in the Hiwayman's Club that was attached. They were the nicest people you would ever want to know. I'm sure they are both greatly missed. May you both rest in peace.  LaFaye Sampson

Henry was our neighbor for 48 years. A kind and thoughtful man, that we consider a privilege to have known. His many acts of friendship and compassion to our family will not be forgotten. Mary and Myron Bump.

We ate at 11th frame for years.  The John Schaefer family with Suzanne Schaefer now Suzanne Bryde.  Henry and Lily are wonderful people!!  So kind.  Loved the food.  I ate the Chicken Royale soup every time.  Super couple.  God Bless, in our prayers. Chris and Suzanne Bryde  Lily used to say to Suzanne every time "Awe Sue how are you"

I knew Henry tru a friend. He was always just Henry. I admired his paintings. A couple of years ago, he gave me one of his paintings, which we prouldly hung  in our restaurant. He will always be a part of our lives. Rest In Peace.

I had the pleasure of working with Henry at Emprise Bank.  He was ever pleasant and gracious, a customer that always brought a smile.  Rest in peace, Henry.  You will certainly be missed by all who knew you.

I want Henry's family how much he did for my family. When my father, Bruce Kinkead died, he opened his home to my children who had small children. It gave them a place to rest and take care of their children.  He and Thelma put food in the freezer for and new bedding and towels out for them.  He was always so happy to see us when we came for visits. He always was giving the children some kind of a treat. He cared so much for my aunt up to his last days.  He will be greatly missed by my family. May his family find peace in the way he lived his life, we should all do the same.  April (Kinkead) Milam

Henry was gentelman, kind and generous.I new Henery as mt Anut Thelma's devoted boyfriend and if you knew Thelma that was no easy task. Henery will be missed, may he rest in peace, he has earned it. My famliys thoughts and prayers will be with you.

I worked for Henry and Lily at the 11th Frame Restaurant back in the 60's when I was a young teenager and maintained a friendship with them for many years. Henry spoke often of his boys,Jack and Jim and was excited to introduce me to Jim when he came home from Chicago on one occasion. There were 4 of us friends that kind of adopted Henry and loved him and Lily like family.

Henry and I worked together at the old Stockyards Hotel Dining Room, he was the head Chef and I was the manager. Henry and I became very close friends and remained very close thru all these years.
