Henry Lippincott

Henry graduated from South High School in Wichita, Kansas, Class of '67. Following high school he enlisted in The United States Air Force from 1969 to 1973 ranking as a Sergeant. Henry was stationed in Thailand during The Vietnam War and was a Crew Chief for the "Wild Weasel" flight. After The Air Force he continued on to Wichita State University to further his education. Henry retired from Cessna Aircraft specializing as a Pre Flight Instructor, Crew Chief, Quality Engineer and SAP Quality Planner.

He enjoyed playing and learning a variety of instruments. Henry listened, recorded and edited music at the bluegrass festival. He loved building computers and learning new technology.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Lee Lippincott and Frances Edna (Dearborn) Lippincott; his brother, Kevin Lee Lippincott and his son, Jonathan M. Lippincott.

Henry is survived by his wife, MaryAnne (Baker) Lippincott; children: Melissa (Kael) Travis, Jacob Lippincott and Nathaniel Lippincott; Nancy (Bert) Lippincott Smith, James (Anne) Lippincott, Janan (Roger) Smith, Dean (Renee) Lippincott, J. Thomas Lippincott and Kathy (Mark) Nixon.

A graveside service for Henry will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
