Howe, Herbert M, 84, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2014. Herbert was born May 7, 1930 in Bentley, Kansas. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and spending time with his granddaughters. Herbert will be dearly missed by his many friends and family. Herbert was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clifford and Ida Howe; his brothers Levi and Clyde Howe; sisters oldest sister Cora Hurst and Opal June Howe. He is survived by his beloved wife June (Laughlin) Howe; son Carter Howe of British Columbia, Canada; brother Leo Howe of Wichita and sister Hazel Lawrence of Quincy, Illinois; five granddaughters; five great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation with family and friends at 9 a.m. Saturday November 1, followed by funeral services at 10 a.m., both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th Street in Wichita.
