I am very sad to hear about Irene's passing. My childhood in the neighborhood where the Roger's family also lived was made fuller by knowing Irene and Bob and the two boys Tom and Dan. Bob please know how much my heart aches and I pray you are doing well.

What a wonderful woman, Irene.  She always had a smile and a good word for others.  Always opened up her arms for a hug and showed so much concern for others, even though she might have been hurting, you would never know.

What a true example of living a Christ-like life.

She will be missed by many.  Thank you Bob and family for sharing her with us through the last 87-years.

What a sweet lady she was and I can only repeat the fact that she always had a smile on her face and was truly interested in hearing how you were. I will miss seeing her around town and am so sorry for your loss Bob.

Irene and I met up in the strangest of places over years, but you know us nurses! bob, you were married to a very caring woman, and a great nurse who had that rare gift of calming patients when they were afraid, making them feel important and cared for while they were in the hospital
environment. I am so glad I have known her here and there over almost 40 years. May God welcome her into Eternal happiness.

We would meet at a variety of volunteer events. I never saw her without her radiant smile and love to help people. Bob how fortunate to have found such a great lady !

Irene was a lovely person and she and Bob so kind to our parents, Bud and Delores Steadman, who both passed away in 2015. Our sympathies go out to the family.

So sorry to hear of Irene's passing!  She and Bob were so helpful to our family when my Mom was in the hospital last year. They have both been lifelong friends of our family and our thoughts and prayers go out to Bob and family.  Sadly our parents both passed away in 2015 and I have no doubt that the 3 of them will be celebrating in Heaven.

Irene was always smiling and her love for life was obvious as you saw her and Bob around the town enjoying themselves. RIP Irene

Irene has been the truest of friends, always encouraging, always teasing & joking. She made me feel like a lifelong friend from the day I met her. What to say about this woman? I met her when I was 24. High energy,always a smile for me, love this woman and Bob too. Always together. Lived their lives to the fullest. Heaven is a happier place with her there ,but we on earth are so sad.

I am so sorry for your loss, Irene was such a special person,  she will be missed.  I job shared with Irene years ago and have done a lot of Mexico traveling with Irene and Senor Bob's Bunch.  There are so many good memories.
