Atherton, Irma Lea, 89, passed away Friday December 26, 2014. Irma Lea was born in Wichita, was a graduate of North High, and was a life-long Wichita resident. She retired from Coleman with 44 years of service, and was active in bowling and golf throughout most of her life. Irma Lea was preceded in death by parents Earl and Roxie Atherton; and two siblings – Joann Atherton and Gordon L. Atherton. She is survived by two nephews – Marvin Atherton, Dacula, GA, and Russell Atherton, Arlington, TX; and by several friends who loved her as family. Memorial services will be at 3:00 P.M. Friday January 2, 2015 at Resthaven Mortuary.
