

Clary, Jack J., 95, 40 year Boeing employee, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013. He was born December 9, 1917 in Tulsa, OK to parents Jack and Dessie Clary. Jack served in the Navy during World War II on the aircraft carrier, The USS Intrepid, as a torpedo man. He was employed by Boeing Aircraft for a time before he joined the Navy and returned to Boeing after his service. He was a welder and mechanic in the Experimental Department and worked on many new projects for which he received many awards for solving problems and coming up with new ideas. He was a good man, an honest man and a determined man. He was a 61 year Master Mason with the Sunflower Lodge and a longtime member of Southwest Presbyterian Church. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 68 years, Gertrude and brother, Bob Clary. He is survived by daughter, Marjorie and husband John Bailey of Wichita and son, Mike and wife Kathy Clary of Colorado; 6 grandchildren Jim, John, Korbie, Windie, Jodie and Heidie; 9 great-grandchildren Melinda, Savannah, Billy, J.D. Averee, Eddie Mike, Trace, Carter and Reace. We love you Dad and Grandpa. Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Friday, December 13, 2013 with visitation 1 hour prior to service, both at Resthaven Mortuary.
