Jack F. Parry, retired auto mechanic passed on June 22, 2026, at the age of 88; he was born on April 10, 1938, in Wichita, Kansas to Frederick Parry of St. Louis, MO and Minnie Sweate Parry of Judsonia, AR.
Jack graduate from East High School and Friends University where he met James Gross, a close friend. He met Barbara at church and they were married over 50 years till she passed in 2020. He still talked about her smile.
He was master mechanic at Davis-Moore winning many awards. Jack found particular joy in antique cars and in the time and care it takes to keep them running. Whether working on cars, collecting them, or simply appreciating their craftsmanship, his hands-on devotion reflected a lifelong willingness to put in the effort and see a job through. He will be missed by friends and family.
Jack has a step-son, Brad Kirk of Colorado, son, Jack Parry of Wichita, KS, his friend Susan Belle Brown, many friends, and his beloved cat.
Visitation will be held at Devorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, 201 South Hydraulic, Wichita, KS 67211, US, on June 30, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
A graveside service will take place at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N Oliver St, Wichita, KS 67208, US, on July 1, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
