Sentel, Jack K., 88, passed away July 2, 2017 in Wichita, KS. Jack was the supervisor over maintenance for USD 259 for 40 years before retiring. He was a 50 year member of the Albert Pike Lodge #303, as well as a dedicated member of American Legion Post #401 and the NRA. Jack was a “Mountain Man” who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt bikes, hiking and traveling. He is preceded in death by parents Lawrence and Emma and wife Mary Lou. Jack is survived by sons Kenneth (Janice) Sentel, Michael (Brenda) Sentel, and Larry (Vickie) Sentel; daughter Marsha (Richard) Anderson; 6 grandchildren, Shellie Sentel, Tonya Snyder, Kevin (Jamie) Anderson, Kimberly (Corey) Isbell, Stephanie (Jeff) Perry, Jody Sentel; 9 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Wednesday July 5 from 5-7 and funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday July 6, 2017 both at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorial donations may be made to Kindred Hospice.
