Jack Nofire, aged 64, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021, in Wichita, Kansas.
Jack was born February 26, 1957 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Eli and Lydia (Scraper) Nofire.
As a young man, Jack moved to Wichita, Kansas where he set down his roots and began his career. Jack found his career in aircraft, working as an engineer for Cessna for 11 years, and later working to retirement at Boeing. After that, he spent time working in maintenance at his church home, Central Community Church.
In 1979, he celebrated the birth of son, Jason, and in 1982, celebrated the birth of daughter Jessica.
Jack was a skilled, self-taught craftsman with a unique ability to create and build from scratch anything from flowerbeds to decks and sheds. He also developed a love of dance, competing in East Coast and West Coast Swing, Country Western Two-Step and Triple-Step, and Waltz. It was during this time that he met his partner of 20 years, Jamie.
Jack was known for his charismatic personality, ability to quickly make friends, and always running into someone he knew wherever he went. His kind heart would lead him to help others when he saw someone in need, even stopping to help strangers on the side of the road change tires.

He also loved attending performances at Music Theatre of Wichita, and was a frequent season ticket holder.
