

Seyffer Jr., Jacob “Jack” J., 70, passed away peacefully in his home on March 1, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife Vicki. During their life together they enjoyed showing and raising dogs and horses. They also spent time as a hobby participating in historic primitive camping and firearms. He is survived by brothers, Richard and Michael of Phoenix, AZ, son Jacob “Jay” Seyffer of Springfield, IL, and his wife’s children, Amy of Monument, CO, Brad of Andover, and Bruce Train of Wichita. Jack loved Vicki’s grandchildren as his own, they include Taylor and Bryan Train, and Shelby, Andrew, Jacob and Riley Train. Jack worked at Boeing as a Computer Engineer to support his passion of working with horses, mainly as a farrier (horseshoeing). In his retirement he derived great enjoyment from his school bus driving route, especially helping the children on his bus. A celebration of life is planned for Jack on Friday, March 11, 2016 from 4p.m. to 7p.m. at Wandering Banks Ranch, 14120 E. 39th St.S., Derby, KS 67037.
