James C. Griffin Griffin, James C., 88, passed away November 23, 2014, born July 13th, 1926 in Topeka the son of Hubert and Bertha Griffin. James is preceded in death by: wife, Mary Lou and brother, Delbert. James is survived by: son, Kenneth (Jacqueline) Griffin of Wichita; daughter, Penny (Richard) Puff of Topeka; sister, Ethel Dennis of Topeka; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Graveside services with military honors will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday November 26, 2014 at Topeka Cemetery.
