

James (Jim) H. Maybrier, Sr., 86, Furniture Dealer in Wichita for 65 years and founder of Jim’s Furniture, entered eternal life on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Jim retired in 1986 the business is being carried on by his family.
Jim graduated from the Sacred Heart High School; there he was active in sports playing basketball and baseball. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and St. Cecilia Catholic Church for many years before attending St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Mulvane after going to Villa Maria Nursing Home in 2000. Jim also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Preceded by his parents Noble and Angela (Hergenreder) Maybrier and five brothers. Survived by his wife LaVerne, sons Jim (Marcia) Maybrier of Oxford, Father Mike Maybrier of Hutchinson, Bruce (Colette) Maybrier of Haysville, sisters Elouise Wolfe of Colwich, Mary Rogers of Salina, four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Rosary, 7pm, Thursday, Nov. 12th, Mass of Christian Burial, 11am, Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 both at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Mulvane with burial to follow at Ascension Cemetery.
