Janae Danelle Barker

Janae was born on October 10, 1962, in Chanute, KS. Janae was preceded in death by her mother Virginia (Jerome) Barker and baby brother Jeffrey, her brother Jerry Barker, nephew Kent Jeffers, and brother-in-law Robert Oliver.

Janae is survived by her immediate family, one precious daughter, Mackenzie Gardiner, of Wichita; sisters, Deborah Derendinger (Peter) of Merriam; Deidre Oliver (Robert) of Lawrence; Jo Swenson (Duane) of Overbrook; Jennifer Horine (Daniel) of Wichita; and Jerry’s widow, Kandy Barker, of Topeka, all in Kansas.

She is loved and will be missed dearly by an abundance of nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends who she acknowledged enriched her life beyond measure.
