Janet L. Bailey, age 99, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Janet was born November 2, 1921 to Clark and Marian Zahm in Sherwin, Kansas. She was a devoted wife, mother, great-great grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 58 years, John Bailey; sister, Francis Price; brother, John William Zahm; son-in-law, Thomas "Wayne" Fox; and granddaughter, Kara Jane Ulmen.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Janice "Karen" Fox; son, John Robert (Shirley A.) Bailey Jr.; grandchildren, Steven Ray Fox, Timothy M. Ulmen, John Clifford (Jacqueline) Fox, Sharon "Diane" (Frank) Hsu, Jennifer Denise (Patrick) Prytherch, and Sean "Mike" (Audrey) Bailey; 12 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, with Graveside service following 1:00PM, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas.
