Edminster, Janet Rose, 77, retired USD 259 Administrative Assistant, passed away to be with the Lord on December 10, 2011. She was preceded in death by first husband of 26 years, Ray W. Rose and sister, Nancy Ritter. Survivors include husband Leichester H. Edminster; sons, Rob (Fran) Rose, Barry (Laurie) Rose all of Wichita; step daughters, Peggy (Wayne) Moore of Edgerton, KS and Cozy (Chris) Goebel of Wichita; grandchildren, Kelsey (Matt) Gillenwater, Drew Rose, Aaron Rose, Sarah Rose, Kirsten (Todd) Weltmer, Kari (Brett) Larson, Kelly (Ryan) Walker, Kevin (Diana) Goebel and Katie Goebel as well as many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Ray W. Rose Scholarship Fund. Visitation at Resthaven Mortuary from 6-8 on Wednesday. Funeral service to be held at Plymouth Congregational Church 10:30 am, Thursday, December 15, 2011. Family graveside service preceding the funeral.
