Jan passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 83 in Andover, Kansas. She was born to Silas Glen Bishop and Verna Nadine (Arnce) Bishop on October 5, 1942, in Wichita, Kansas.
Jan was married to Robert Wille Sr. for 25 years. After they divorced, she married Merle Leon Mathias and spent 10 years with him before he passed away.
Jan was an in-home day care provider for many years. She enjoyed crafting hobbies, flowers and plants.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon Mathias and brother, Glen Bishop. She is survived by her children, Ruth Harper, Dena Briley and Robert Wille Jr.; 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W Hwy 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209 on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 11:00 am.
