Jeanette "Jeanie" Evelyn Bugg, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 17, 2025. Jeanie was born July 29, 1942, in Vincennes, Indiana to Anne Rozella Hanson McGuire and Louis Hinckley McGuire.
Jeanie was married to Garland "Gary" Bugg for 62+ years. She was known and loved as "Honey” to her husband; "Mom" by her daughters, Lisa Fulbright and Michelle Pitman and her sons-in-law, Gary Fulbright and Scott Pitman. She was "Grandma Jeanie, or “Grams" Or "Grammy" by her 22 grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was known by her many friends as "Jeanie Bugg," or "Lady Bugg" or "Miss Jeanie." She was confident in her faith and reflected that in all she did. She loved others well and wanted them to know the peace that her faith in Jesus brought her. She will be missed here on earth by family and friends, with the consolation that she is free and whole and in the company of the loved ones who preceded her.
Jeanie is survived by her husband, Garland "Gary" Leroy Bugg; daughters Lisa Lyn Fulbright (Gary) and Michelle Pitman (Scott); grandchildren Amanda Davenport (James), Jamie Webb (Aaron), Timothy Werth, Jessi Lucas, Logan Fulbright, Kaitlyn Lucas, Anna Fulbright, Jennifer Fulbright, Janie Guyot (Derrick), Emerson Fulbright, Autumn Fulbright, Hannah Fulbright, Levi Fulbright, Jaxon Fulbright, Journey Fulbright, Jace Fulbright, Piper Fulbright, Sawyer Fulbright, Kelsey Kasel (Justin), Parker Tatro, and Jade Pitman; and great grandchildren Grace, Faith, Daniel, Asher, Colin, Gabe, Bella, Max, Amelia, Penelope, Karma, Kourtney, Korey, Kinsley, Emerald, Brody, Brecken, Henry, and Sloane.
Jeanie was preceded in death by her father Louis Hinckley McGuire; mother Anne Rozella Hanson McGuire; and sister Susanne Davidson.
A Celebration of Life for Jeanie will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 29, 2025 at New Life Covenant Church, 1819 W Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67213.
