After graduating from West High School, Jerry went on to work at Cessna as a machinist. Following Cessna he retired from Boeing. He enjoyed traveling all over the country with his club brothers. He liked being out in his garage and tinkering with projects.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Beryl Borden; his spouse, Juvia Borden; his children: Jolena Alfred and Jason Borden; his granddaughter, Jeri Michelle Miller; his grandson, Joshua Borden and his great-grandson, Tytus Allen.
Jerry is survived by his sister, Linda (Darrell) Leis; his children: Wanda (Randall) Williams, Clifford (Pam) Borden, Sheila Borden and Christopher Borden; 11 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209, US, on April 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
