Jerry Duane Iseman

Jerry D. Iseman, age 64, of Wichita, Kansas beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Jerry was born September 15, 1957 in Burlington, Kansas to John and Ellen Iseman. He graduated from Burlington High School in 1975 then Fort Scott Community College before attending Kansas State University. After arriving in Wichita in the early 1980’s, Jerry worked at Town & Country Markets for several years where he ultimately met his husband.

Jerry recently retired as a Bank Teller after 15 years with Intrust Bank and over 30 years in banking. He loved gardening, reading online, antiquing, traveling, going to movies and concerts, shopping and, as a K-State fan, all things purple. One of his favorite things was going to the Dillard’s cologne counter, and anyone who got a hug or was in close proximity was in for an aromatic experience. He never met a stranger, and generally cared deeply for people. He loved to laugh; and his greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Justin Iseman.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving husband Lonnie Stout, sister Cindy Iseman, brothers Johnny Iseman, Jim Iseman (Diana) and Joseph Iseman (Tracy).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in Jerry's name to The V Foundation for Cancer Research or The American Cancer Society
