

Griswold, Jim “Griz”, 66, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Wichita. Jim was born the son of James and Bettye Griswold on December 17, 1950 in Ennis, Texas. Jim and Sharry met in August of 1998. Their love has grown stronger everyday since. Jim finished his 36 year-long career with Tom Lange Company as Senior Vice President. He enjoyed retirement by traveling his beloved country in his motor home. A life-long outdoorsman, Jim loved hunting and fishing as well as serving his community with his friends in the Wichita Wagonmasters and the Wichita Riverfest Volunteer Crew. Above all, Jim valued time spent with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharry Griswold; daughter, Erin (David) Graver (and their children Dorothea, Edith, and Helena); sons, Brian (Molly) Crowe and Steven Crowe all of Wichita; mother, Bettye Griswold of Little Rock, AR; brother, Wade (Luella) Griswold of Wichita; and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his father. Celebration of Life services will be 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. A reception will follow for friends and family from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Crestview Country Club, 1000 N. 127th E., Wichita, 67230. A private burial was held at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita.
