Jim Lee McBride passed away at home on February 8, 2022 he was born in Wichita Kansas to Floyd McBride and Betty Jane McBride. He attended campus high school where he graduated in 1963 and went on to receive a bachelors of education from Wichita State University in 1967 he first started out as a high school teacher in the Garden Plain school district.
He went on to become an industrial engineer supervisor in tooling methods at Boeing Wichita where he retired. He was also a Boy Scout leader for the City of Rose Hill. He was a die hard Chiefs fan and a season ticket holder since the late 80’s. He was also an avid collector of Chief’s memorabilia. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Linda Diane McBride, his sons Jimmy R McBride, and Brian S McBride, his four grandchildren Jake McBride, Lily McBride, Madison McBride, and Hunter McBride. Services will be held at Resthaven mortuary February 17, 2022 at 1 PM with a viewing starting at noon.
