Jimmie served in the Korean conflict, was an Air Force Firefighter, and a member of the military rescue squad in the Air Corps. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa, and he loved family. Fast pitch softball was dad’s passion. Jimmie was the star pitcher for Cessna’s hammer house team. He also loved golf and the Yankees baseball team. Jimmie was the golf instructor for his only student, his son. He also loved sneaking out with his daughter for A&W root beer floats and they were the only two that knew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 26 years, Mary June; brothers, Don Lolley and John Lolley; sister, Helen Wittner; and great-granddaughter, Lilly Smith.
Jimmie is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Steven) Fritze; son, Gregory (Tracy) Lolley; granddaughters, Amy (Drake) Smith and Melissa (Anthony) Smith; great-granddaughter, Olivia Smith; and great-grandson, Austin Smith.
Funeral service for Jimmie will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 20th with visitation one hour prior, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
