Jimmy was born on March 8, 1957, in Bakersfield, California. During his childhood, he lived in many different places around the world with his family. An experience that shaped his curiosity, adaptability, and appreciation for people from all walks of life. He later served in the United States Army, where he was stationed at Fort Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska.
Jimmy met the love of his life, Lisa, in Cherryvale, Kansas. Together, they built a life rooted in hard work and resilience while raising their son, Joe, in Independence, Kansas. Jimmy had a deep passion for aviation, guitars, motorcycles, and the outdoors. He had an immense amount of knowledge that he was always willing to share. Jimmy will be remembered for his strength, his stories, his work ethic, and the quiet way he showed love to those closest to him, especially his grandchildren. Parker and Layla brought him great pride and joy, and he cherished every moment he spent with them. Jimmy is now reunited with his beloved wife, Lisa, and his brothers, Bobby, Billy, and Joe.
He is survived by his son, Joseph (Samantha) Hall; his grandchildren, Parker and Layla Hall; his mother, Betty Hall; and his sister, Ruby Gregg.
A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held on April 19 at 1pm at his farm. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to his grandchildren’s education fund. (ugift529.com Code: 54E-L23)
