Holm, Joan Claire (Goodwin), 85, passed away May 9, 2016. Joan was born and raised in Madison, WI, where she graduated from East High School. She went on to get a Bachelors degree in economics at The University of Wisconsin and was a proud lifelong Badger fan. She worked briefly in Chicago, was transferred to Dallas, and finally to the Bay area where she met her husband John. Joan put her career on hold while she raised her sons, volunteering as a cub scout den mother, and room mom. She loved to travel, shop, and all things sparkly, but most of all spending time with friends, playing bridge, and drinking wine. Joan is survived by sons John G. (Julie) Holm of Scottsdale, AZ, and Randall S. (Michelle) Holm of Wichita; grandchildren Levi, Leah, Autumn, Sophia, Mackenzie, Chloe, Jayden, Dayten, and Maclane. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alga Goodwin, sister Nancy Shelffo, and her husband, John R. Holm. Services will be held Friday, May 13, 2016, at 3 pm Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W Hwy 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
