JoAnn Marie Curtis

Joann enjoyed gardening,cooking, and baking for the family. She was a proud beautician throughout her lifetime. Joann loved making crafts with and for the grandkids. She loved camping, fishing, and spending time with family.

Joann is survived by her 2 sons, Kenny (Sandra) Thimesch, and Rick (Trudi) Thimesch; 3 stepsons, Tim (Marva) Curtis, Louis (Marianne) Curtis, Kelley Curtis; her 4 brothers, Jim Henning, John (Doris) Henning, Ray (Sue) Henning, and Dave (Maureen) Henning; 8 grandchildren, Marcie Seiler, Tanner Curtis, Keith Curtis, Amy O'Crowley, Courtney Stiebens, Mariah Bryant, Richard Thimesch, and Gabrielle McNitt; 18 great grandchildren and a host a of other family and friends.

Joann is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Merle Curtis and her mother Marie Henning.

A Visitation will be held with family present on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Funeral service will be Friday, May 26, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Resthaven Mortuary with graveside service to follow.
