Joann Ellen East Webb

Joann E. Webb, 80, passed away December 31, 2017. Joann was born at her parents’ home in Burrton, KS on February 5, 1937 and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Wichita, KS. Joann was homemaker extraordinaire including, taxi driver, in-house doctor, laundry attendant, chef, baby maker, cheerleader of endless sports, lover of Christmas season and lifetime achievement winner for being Mother of all ages and rock of our faith. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church for 59 years, she was active with St. Anne's Harvest House, Day Guide, helping with homebound people-pattering and serving food items for those in need, including funerals. She was preceded by parents, Charles and Ellen East, and 2 children, Karen and Christopher. Joann is survived by her husband, Darrel M. Webb and 7 children: Cathy Norton, Michael Webb, Vickie (Chris) Myers, Rick (Laura) Webb, Christy (Wayne) Howard, Tim (Brenda) Webb, and Larry (Terri) Webb; grandchildren, Shawn Shinn and Shane Sargent, Justin Michael, Sadie Marie and Lilly Ann Webb, Amy (Jeremy) Grether, Christopher Myers, Lindsey (Tyson) Baker, Megan Webb, Laura (Eric) Schmitz, Lisa (Jereme) Bishop, Stacy Erwin, Travis Howard, Robert (Ashley) Sullivan, Felicia Sullivan, Gage Webb, Dominic Borboa, Mason Webb, Riley Webb, Zach (Melissa) webb, Cody (Lucy) Webb, Tori (Tyler) Carmine, Alexis and Abigail Webb; great grandchildren, Chloe, Cale, Chevy, Blazer, Zaine, Phoenix, Theodore, Corbin, Cheyenne, Codie, Ava, Addi, Aubrey, Brooklyn, Ayden, Peyton, Angela, Jackson, Quentin, Teigen, Elena, Christian, and Daniel; and great-great grandchildren, Aiden, Sissy, Dominic, Rose and Frankie. Rosary 7 p.m. Friday, January 5th and Mass 10 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 both at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 2801 S Seneca St, Wichita, KS 67217.
