Joanne May Mardis (Cooper), 75, Joey (Jojo, Jo) passed away three days before her 76th birthday on November 8, 2016. Born November 11, 1940 in San Diego, she was a proud Planeview High Alum and spent her life devoted to her family. Beloved mom to Michael and Christy McClelland, Grams to Haleigh and Elleigh, sister to Jane Selenke, aunt, cherished friend. Predeceased by her amazing parents Harlen and Mabel Cooper, brother John (Bill) Cooper, big sis Virginia Achuff, nephew Michael Selenke and her precious grandson Christopher. Celebration of life delayed until Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11a.m., Mount Gilead Baptist Church, 2601 N. Holyoke, Wichita. Lakeview Funeral Home.
