Clarke, John David, age 91, passed away June 8, 2019. John was an Army veteran and owned Clarke Fuel and Oil. He was preceded in death by his son, David Clarke. John is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jean; children, Gerald (Terri) Clarke, Jim (Gina) Clarke, Clyde Clarke and Jane (Jon) Bebermeyer; daughter-in-law, Shirley Clarke; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM with funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Mortuary on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 350 N. Market St., Wichita, KS 67202.

I never knew John but met him once. I’ve heard so many good things about him from my half brother Jerry. My mother in law also knew him and talked very highly of him. I am so sorry for your loss and sending prayers to the whole family.
