Dougherty, John E., 89, retired Boeing employee, passed away November 6, 2012. He was an Army veteran having served in WWII and the Korean Conflict. Also a dedicated American Red Cross volunteer and coveted blood donor. John is preceded in death by his first wife Nila; son, Dana; daughters, Peggy Seinze and Debra Smith; 1 brother and 3 sisters. He is survived by wife, Marcella; son, Paul; daughter, Donna Andrews; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Funeral service is Friday, November 9, 2012 at 1:00 pm, both at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorial has been established in memory of John with the American Red Cross, 707 N. Main, Wichita, KS 67203.
