Johnnie Carolyn (Gean) Stafford

Johnnie was united in marriage to Bernard "Dude" Stafford on February 24, 1956 at the Olivet Baptist Church in Wichita, Kansas. Johnnie worked for Cessna Aircraft for over 25 years as a sheet metal assembler.

Johnnie enjoyed crocheting and plastic canvas; along with going fishing, camping, and shooting her 22 caliber,16 gauge shotgun, along with many others showing her family how it was done. Her favorite time was being around her loving family. She always made sure her family members were fed and taken care of. Johnnie loved to go on walks in the woods with her pride and joys, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Sonny and Alma; her sisters, Sue and Rita; her brother, Alan; her son, Eugene; her grandson, Jace; and a great-grandson, Jace.

She is survived by: her devoted husband of 68 years, Dude; her children, Dale and Susie; her sister, Connie; her grandchildren, Eric, Sonny, April, Justin, Felicia; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of the Gospels, Wichita.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Johnnie's name with: Harper County Health Foundation, 485 N KS HWY 2, Anthony, Kansas 67003.
