Preceded in death by his parents Paul and Clara, grandparents, nephew Nathan Hendren, numerous aunts and uncles.
Jon worked as a nurse at the Adorers of the Blood of Christ for over 10 years. He loved every minute of being a nurse and was very well loved by all his co-workers. Before becoming a nurse Jon worked for NASA for 5 years in the Aerospace Program on the space shuttle, the Challenger.
Survived by daughter Sarah (Joey) Vickers, step-son Eric Hendren, brother Thad Hendren, sister Lissa Straus.
Rosary 8pm, Fri. Aug. 10, 2012, Funeral Mass, 10am, Aug. 11, 2012 both St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
