Silvers, Jon Robert, passed away Sunday January 8, 2012. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, Jan. 14 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in the Rose Garden. Jon was born September 20, 1951 in Pittsburg, KS to the late Junior Robert (Jay) and Jacqueline Silvers. He grew up in Wichita, KS and graduated from Southeast High School. Jon worked for the family business “Silvers Electric” before beginning a career with Boeing then finally starting his own business in 1994 “J & J Garage Doors”. Jon was preceded in death by his parents and survived by his loving wife Jana Silvers, beloved sons Shawn and Brian Silvers, daughter Jana Marie Stotler, sister Jayna (Silvers) Forsythe, brothers Jack and Joel Silvers and 12 treasured grandkids.
