Jonathon Carl Holcomb

He met his future bride, Marie, at a Wednesday night church service and sparks flew. They married seven months later. Jon and Marie were married 2 months shy of 50 years.

He attended OU and USAO, graduating with an engineering degree.

They had three children: Kisskina (Daniel) DeWitt, Jon (Darcy) Holcomb, and Adam (Andrea) Holcomb, and six sugar babies (grandchildren): Diana Fahring, Noah DeWitt, Madysen Holcomb, Morgyn Holcomb, Boston Holcomb, and Holland Holcomb.

His focus in life was faith, family, and sports. He loved talking to all about Jesus.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Patricia Holcomb, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He will be greatly missed and we long for the day we get to be reunited with Him.

A visitation for Jonathon will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 10a.m. at Evangel Assembly of God, 11444 West 21st Street, Wichita, Kansas. In honor of his love for sports we are requesting people wear sports attire.
