Hayes, Joseph "Joe", of Wichita, Kansas lost his courageous battle due to illness on August 14, 2018, but has now been reunited with his loved ones that have passed before him. Joe was born the son of Joseph and Evelyn (Hawks) Hayes in Newkirk, OK on December 19, 1932. He retired from Love Box Company with 50 years of service.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marilyn Niccoli.
Survivors include his loving wife Carole; daughter, Kathy (Kurt) Schroeder of Olathe, KS; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Rosary will take place at 10:00am on Monday, August 20, 2018 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1321 N. Stratford Lane, Wichita, with services to follow.
