

Juanita Carr Bailey joined her husband and son in heaven on August 16, 2023 after a brief illness. She was born on November 5, 1930 in Carthage Missouri. She was one of twelve children, 7 sisters and 4 brothers.
Juanita loved bowling, dancing and was an avid reader. She was a member of The Women of The Moose and American Legion Women’s Axillary. She was active in volunteer work both with the Christmas Bureau Adopt-A-Family and the Marian Clinic.
When first moving to Topeka Juanita worked for Fleming Foods and later worked for New York Life Insurance Co, from there she retired. Being married to a Naval Officer provided her with many opportunities to travel, both in and out of the United States.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna (White) Grainger; 3 grandchildren James Stokes, Ashleigh Stokes and Madeline White; 2 great grandson’s Jackson and Cole Stokes; 2 step grandsons Wade and Nathan Grainger; and ex daughter-in-law Lori White.
Her husband Don White, son Steve White and son-in-law Gene Grainger predeceased her.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Circle of Life hospice in Northwest Arkansas.
