Juanita M. Green, age 89, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Juanita was born November 9, 1932 to William and Mary Thompson in Kokomo, Indiana, moving to Wichita in elementary school.
Juanita worked in the Oil & Gas industry for over 50 years, becoming President of Rains and Williamson Oil Company until retirement. Juanita married Ernest, the love of her life in 1949. She greatly shared a lifelong enjoyment of dancing with her husband. She loved her sons and grandchildren and made a warm positive influence in their lives. Her generous and kind spirit touched so many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and her husband Ernest.
Survivors include Scott R (Irina) Green, Gregory A (Kevin Ann) Green, Chris A (Teresa) Green, Grandchildren Clint R Green, Erica M Nusser, Jess F, and Sadie M Green.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 1p.m with a graveside service to follow at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209
