Juanita Faye (Alexander) Randall, 87, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away at Homestead Assisted Living & Memory Care on January 17th, 2025. She was born October 22,1937 in Protection, Kansas, to Wilson and Easter Alexander.
Juanita was known for her cooking and love hosting family holidays dinners; to making peanut brittle (she was so excited when her daughters, daughters-in-law, granddaughters would ask her how to make her famous peanut brittle) every year around Christmas she would make batch after batch and loved giving it away to her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She was an amazing cook. She also enjoyed various things like crocheting, watching baseball, football, wrestling and rodeos. She worked for the Haysville School District as a lunchroom and recess aid where she enjoyed all the children, she was known as grandma to a lot of the children over the years she was employed. She was known as Aunt Nita to all her nieces and nephews, but the thing she loved the most was her grandbabies.
She is preceded in death by both her parents, Wilson & Easter; along with her husband of 60 years, E. J. Randall; as well as her brother’s: Doyle Alexander, Joe Alexander; Robert Alexander and sister’s, Ruth Davis and Margaret McCloud. Also, three of her children, Debra Ann Randall, Donnie Randall, and Cheryl Olds.
Juanita is survived by her children: son’s, Edward (Tena) Randall of Valley Center, KS; Kevin (Pennie) Randall of Solomon, KS and Randy (Cyndie) Randall of Wichita, KS; daughter’s, Donna (Steve) White of Wichita, KS and Sandie (Tim) Haney of Mulvane, KS; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Visitation with family present will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at West Haysville Baptist Church, 141 N. Lamar, Haysville, KS 67060 with graveside service to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Devotion Lot 2A, Space 2, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita, Kansas, 67209.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to: the American Heart Association or Dementia Society of America through Resthaven Mortuary.
