

Judith Susan (Greenberg) McReynolds, age 90, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Judy was the beloved daughter of Sid and Maude (Farris) Greenberg. She built a successful career with Cessna Finance Corporation, where she worked for more than 22 years and retired as Office Manager.
Throughout her life, Judy was known for her zest for living, her adventurous spirit, and her remarkable ability to offer intelligent, thoughtful advice to anyone who sought it. She was someone you could talk to about anything and always count on for wisdom, understanding, and encouragement.
Judy found joy in many pursuits. She loved fishing, was a voracious reader, and approached puzzles with determination and enthusiasm. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, and creating memories with family and friends. Those who knew her will fondly remember her learning to fly small aircraft and her gift for never meeting a stranger. Her warmth, curiosity, and genuine interest in others made a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Judy is survived by her children from her first marriage, Terence (Sherrie) Francis, James (Ellen) Francis, Melisande Francis McCrary, Deirdre Francis, and David (Lori) Francis; her step-son, Richard (Janelle) McReynolds; 17 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of great pride and joy in her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, Donald W. McReynolds; her step-son, Timothy McReynolds; and her parents, Sid and Maude Greenberg.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00PM to 3:00PM, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at The Arcade in Wichita, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Prairie Homestead Senior Living, to cancer research, or by planting a tree in Judy's memory.
The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to all who provided care, support, and friendship throughout Judy's life, especially the staff and community of Prairie Homestead Senior Living in Wichita.
Judy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. Her kindness, wisdom, sense of adventure, and enduring love for family and friends leave a legacy that will continue for generations.
