

Karen was born on December 22, 1965. She was a devoted mother, proud grandmother, cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose love for her family was the center of her world.
She is survived by: her daughters, Haley Mott and Mallory (Carter) Gragg; her beloved grandchildren, Addison, Nora, Oakley, Wiley, and Molley; her sister, Jan; sister-in-law, Christy; and her aunt, Tommie; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by: her beloved parents, John and Carolyn; and her brother, Doug. She loved them fiercely and missed them every day. While she found comfort in the years and memories she shared with them.
Karen spent the majority of her life helping build and grow the family business, Central Equipment. She took great pride in her work and dedicated many years to its success, forming lasting relationships and leaving a meaningful impact on those who had the pleasure of working alongside her.
Nothing brought Karen more joy than her family, especially her grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with them and loved creating memories together. Karen also found happiness in gathering for brunch, relaxing by the pool, escaping to the beauty of Maui, and getting lost in a good book. She treasured her friendship with her best friend, Missy, and valued every moment spent laughing, visiting, and making memories together.
Karen will be remembered for her love of family, her warm spirit, and the countless memories she leaves behind. Through her passing leaves an unimaginable void, her love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Karen's life at "The Final Lasagna Party" on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Clubhouse at the Courtyard of Auburn Hills, 13617 Verona Street, Wichita, Kansas 67235, as we gather to honor her memory, share stories, and celebrate a live well lived.
