Karen was united in marriage to Rick A. Haigler on July 4, 1987, in Wichita. She was employed for over 40 years for the IRS where she worked as an agent and supervisor.
Karen enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, cooking, and loved her animals. She loved to spend time mostly with her loving family.
She was preceded in death by: her parents.
She is survived by: her loving husband of 36 years, Rick; her children, Deborah, Kelly, and Brandon; her brother, John Affolter & Todd Cannon; her sister, Kim Cannon; her grandchildren, Miles, Brandan, Kaiden, Ryleah, Kaine, Kinley, Asylynn, and Liam; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas, with Chaplain Chris McNiel officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside Street, Wichita, Kansas 67219.
