April and Paige,  I am sorry to hear of your Mother's passing.  

You probably do not remember Lacy, Jessica and myself.  Kathy and I were very close for several years in the late 70s, early 80s.  We had gone through some very rough times.  However, with Kathy as my friend it became more of an adventure.  

Kathy liked to introduce herself as 'Kathleen Marie' in those days and she did this in a very grand fashion.  I doubt anyone has forgotten her after the introduction.  She is that memorable.

Kathy and I had been friends for 42 years...I am deeply saddened and cannot fathom this loss.  She has always and will continue to remain in my heart forever....our laughter, tears, joys, heartaches and growing up together. Raising our children and finding ourselves...I will never, ever forget. 
April and Paige, please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences...I am so sorry for your loss.  Hold her in your heart and share her life's stories with your children.  She was indeed a treasure to all !

I didn't know Kathy very well but I know Teri and I understand how hard this has to be on her.  My heart and prayers go out to the family and I pray you will trust God to comfort Kathy's loved ones and that you will all be together again some day.

When we first heard about Kathy, most of us were in a state of disbelief, then sadness, then we started laughing about her sense of humor, and of COURSE her sense of style. I think every one of us was jealous of her shoe collection.  She was a delightful person to be around, and I loved her honesty, her "straight shooting" and her laugh (and the shoes!).  I'll miss her, but I don't think I'll ever forget her - you know how there are some people whose voices and laughter you will hear whenever you think of them.  That's Kathy!

I enjoyed working with Kathy even for the brief time we did, but she was very honest, hard working, and a very good person! Her soul and family will be in our prayers and she will be greatly missed.

Words cannot even come close to saying how much I will miss Kathy's straight forward approach. Good or bad you knew where you stood with her. I will miss my friend and co-worker very much.

Our paths parted after I left employment with the Wichita Police Department Records section in 1998.  Kathy and I were such good friends.  She always made me laugh.  A dear friend is someone who makes you feel good about yourself and because of that, you always want to be around them to return the favor.

I was glad when we reconnected a few years ago.  We had some brief phone conversations and connected on Facebook.  In times like this it seems that we always should have done more.  I loved Kathy and my deepest condolences to her daughters Paige and April and the rest of her family.

Kathy was a fun person and a joy to work with. I got to know her while working on one of the IT projects. I'm sorry to learn that she has passed on. My thoughts are with her family.

Having worked with Kathy for a number of years, she was a special lady, and she will be missed.  Our prayers are with the family.

I worked with Kathy for several years with the Police Department and she could always make me laugh.  I will miss seeing her at City Hall.  May God comfort her family!  May she rest in peace!

I am sorry to hear such sad news. I have not spoken to her in many years. April & Paige , you know how much your mother Loved you. May God comfort you and bless you with the comfort that she is in a better place. I am truly sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear this.  i have some great memories of Kathy. When she and Paige and April lived with my girls, Brianne and Brandi, and I in Andover, we had some great times.  I'm sure she fought valiantly.

This little box could not begin to hold all the memories I have of Kathy. She was my best friend for nearly 35 years, and we shared so many wonderful experiences. She blazed into my life one day and changed me and helped make me who I am today.Most loving, caring person I know. Taught me so much throughout the years. Rest in peace my friend....and save me a good spot up there!! My condolences to all her family and friends. I will never, ever forget you Kathy..............Love you, Linda

Prayers to all of you, I knew Kathy from grade school and meet up with her again in the 80's and then on facebook, she will always be in my heart. Kathy was a beautiful lady and will be missed by many. She's soaring with the Angels and at peace.
