Kathleen Stavely Barton Parks Shelton, 72, passed away Wednesday, Sept 5, 2012. Kathleen was a retired business owner and loved to play bridge with lifetime friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Kenneth & Jaunita Abell Stavely, sister Janet Ann Stavely & husbands Richard Eugene Barton & Frederic W Shelton Jr.
Survived by her children; Laura Barton Cowperthwaite, Theresa Barton Sapp (Steve), Douglas Anthony Knight Barton (Ellen), David Charles Richard Barton (Teresa), Elizabeth Barton-Davis (Steve) and sister Judith Laketa Baylie (Jim), step-children; Sallie & Dennis Strole, Amy Cole, Bruce & Jamie Shelton, Tim & Michelle Parks and 13 grandchildren, 4 nieces and 1 nephew, and dear friends Steve Parks, Bebe Skolich and many other beloveds who made life worth living to the end.
Rosary 7pm, Thursday, Oct. 4 at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Chapel. Memorial Mass 1:00pm, Friday, Oct. 5 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with private inurnment to be held on Sat. at St. Francis Cemetery, St. Paul, KS.
