Kelvin Eugene "Gene" Phillips, 70, passed away on September 16, 2026. He was born April 1, 1956 in Tampa, Florida, the son of Irvin Riley and Fumiko (Takahara) Phillips.

A Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30PM, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Resthaven Mortuary, Wichita, with Father Jorge Lopez presiding. Cremation will follow the service, with Inurnment at a later date.
