Ken was an avid outdoorsman where he enjoyed fishing and hunting. In his younger years, he participated in cross country and bike rides. As a die hard sports fan, he was a Philadelphia Eagles fan; and a season ticket holder to the Wichita Thunder Hockey games, being their 2025 season fan of the year.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and his sister, Anita L. Tracy.
He is survived by: his brother, David (Kathie) Abel of Wichita, Kansas; his aunt, Sharon Montagne of Bellevue, Washington; his nephew, Dustin (Shellie) Knight; his niece, Cassandra (Joe) Maynard; along with many great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
Graveside Service will be 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Save the Kitties, 233 South Georgie Avenue, Suite B, Derby, Kansas 67037.
